dx7 and aileron switch

I've switched to spektrum from airtronics and I'm getting used to the differences.
What's the proper way of setting up the ailerons with the dx7 and servos? Am I supposed to keep the flap switch in the middle then set up the servos or keep the flap switch on normal then set up the sevos?
I currently have my flap system on radio set up at Norm: 0%, Mid: DN50%, Land: DN75%. I set it with the flap switch on normal then set up the servos. If I leave it on Norm: UP100%, Mid: 0%, Land: DN75% and set up the servos with the switch on mid, I get spoilerons when I place the switch on normal. I'm not sure of the proper way to set up the ailerons.

Thanks in advance</p>

RE: dx7 and aileron switch

If you want spoilerons, you need to set the switch at "mid", and set up your servos for neutral.
For flaperons, change the settings to your prefered settings, before you put your servos at neutral, with the switch at 'Norm".

I prefer to use flaperons, but it never fails, I forget to change the settings. And, then I wonder why I can't get my ailerons to perform properly.

Good luck,
EJ

thanks for your reply. I'm used to using flaperons, myself. My previous airtronics radio was preset a bit different and that's what I was used to.

You're welcome. Did you get it set up the way you want?
