Tiger 2 CG help

I'm done with the Tiger 2, but I'm having a problem with the CG. The manuel says 3 1/4' to 4 3/8' from the LE. Do I need to get it to balance at the half way mark? Where is the CG on some others? thanks

The further you move it back the more aerobatic it will be.

I balance mine right on the main wing spar. I use the OS 46AX motor with a prop nut rather than a spinner. With this balance point the plane is quite stable and will fly inverted with almost no elevator input needed.

Yep... move it really far back and see how many times you fly the thing aerobatic wise. In fact, see how many times you actually fly it. I would bet no more than once.

The saying goes, nose heavy: fly it; tail heavy: fly it once.

It is far better off nose heavy for your first several flights, then slowly... meaning, move it back in very small increments.. and fly it until you are satisfied with performance. But, move it to far back and you will find out what I meant by the above.
