Escapade antena...
Hi my name is allen hundley i am 13 and i just bought an excapade from tower hobbies as i was putting it together i came into two problems number one my reciever and battery fit but they only fit in a place that screws up my balance and the other problem is the antenna is to long for the tube so it comes out of the bottom of the fusalage and i dont know if i should cut it or tape it to the bottom or what so please help!!!!
Thanks, -Allen |
RE: Escapade antena...
Don't cut the antenna, it is the length it is for tuning. If you cut any off you will lose range. (it doesn't hurt to leave some hanging out as long as it won't get caught on anything)
"IF" you cannot balance the plane by moving the battery around you will have to add some weight. They sell stick on 1/4 oz lead weights at the hobby shop just for that purpose. |
