Hobby City ESC question??
Have any of you ordered the Hobby King SS ESC's? If so, do I need to order any additional connectors to connect the ESC to the motor? Here is the [link=https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=2112]motor[/link] and here is the [link=https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=6548]ESC[/link].

RE: Hobby City ESC question??
Your motor will come with both sides of the terminals. You will have to solder the female terminals to your ESC wires.

RE: Hobby City ESC question??
Next time you order from them, pick up some Deans connectors, and some of the motor connectors. They sell them pretty cheaply.
You'll always wish you had more on hand when you are in the middle of any project. |

Hey Jose,
I didn't think HC still sold Deans conenctors because of a licensing issue. I could be wrong however. Curtis |
RE: Hobby City ESC question??
Nope I just got a bunch in, now they have the gripping surfaces too.
I don't think they CALL them "Dean's" though. |
RE: Hobby City ESC question??
That's good to know. I thought I would have to switch out the type of connector set I was using on my 3S'
Thanks, Curtis |
RE: Hobby City ESC question??
Do you have a link for the "deans" connectors? I was on there a couple of days ago and could not find them.

RE: Hobby City ESC question??
They were called "T-Connectors 10 Pairs (20pc)".
I purchased four bags of them a few weeks ago and received them not too long ago. Now the listing no longer appears though I can find references to it on the site... I guess Deans was able to sue the Chinese! |
