How does the battery plug in??!!

I have a simple question..that i cant figure out. [&o]. if the charger has 2 wires, and the JR battery has 3..and the charger and the battery have different colored wires..can somebody please tell me how to plug the battery into the charger :(. thanks

line up the brown with the black and the red with the red (not the black w/ the yellow)

i thought the brtwon wire on th battery was not used at all?

no its the yellow one that isnt used.
any thing that kinda looks black is the negitive (brown, dark gray ect)
anything that kinda looks red is the positive
and anyhting that looks white/yellow is the signal wire

for a battery they dont use signal wires so you are only connecting to the positive and negitive.

in short just line up the colors that are closest. brown is closer to black than it is to yellow

The Red is alway centerpin so if you line just red up then you can still plug backwards.

Your set up is indeed black to brown as Jimmy indicated and it will allways be correct if you observe that.

Actually the Hitec S, the Airtronics Z and the JR Plug which are all compatable are keyed mechanically to plug only the proper direction with two edges of the plug with a very small champher edge as does the female plug. But they can be forced backward with only a little more effort.

The thing is, you are safe no matter how you plug it in.
If you plug it in backwards it will do nothing, it just wont charge.
Since your charger has a light on it letting you know it is charging you will know right away if you have it plugged in correctly or not.
