Please Help
Just recieved an iron today from Usa, problem is it works with 110v,
and here in South Africa we use 220V Can anyone help me with a solution. It is a coverite black baron iron Thank you |
RE: Please Help
I am sure you can get a converter. I went traveling in Europe and I bought a converter from Radio Shack, an electronics store. I am sure electronics stores would have one or at least be able to get you one.

RE: Please Help
Hi!
Why buy it from the US???? Send it back and buy it in South Africa...or China? Lots of E-mail stores selling R/C stuff. |
RE: Please Help
Hi,
It's going to be more expensive to buy a converter than to buy a new iron... If you buy a converter just be sure that its power is higher than the power of your iron. |
RE: Please Help
A casual search shows this one for eight bucks. Seams like these things are everywhere for cheap probably a lot less expensive than your return shipping.
Heck you may end up with other 110 devices so it could be put to use. http://www.world-import.com/all-tran...ID=38549917511 |
