Finally decided to go with the Dx7! Man! what a decision. Thanks for all the advice and input on the selection. A large part of the reason to get the Dx7 was that almost everyone I know flys with one. Therefore, if I need help setting it up or being sure that it's set up correctly, there will be penlty of folks around that can assist. It came down to the Dx7 or the futaba, basically a coin flip. Now comes fun the part! reading the manual and binding!! Lots of cool bind fly planes coming out. So 2.4 IMHO will be good for me.

I have an older Futaba and a fairly new Spektrum. I have used the Spektrum DX7 for about 5 months now and really enjoy it. I have not had any problems with it at all. The programming took a little getting used to, but once that was done I was all set and have it matched to all my planes. It works great and I hope you enjoy yours for a long time to come.

Lots of RTF applications with SPEKTRUM too, especially with Parkzone coming out with a new model seemingly every other month.

Very good choice!! I have a lot of friends using it and not one of them is unhappy with it.

Hey I'm one that likes his. No problem in fact I used it today to fly my 1/4 scale clipped wing cub. I know you will enjoy it. Now for pete sake, go fly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D:D:D

Great choice Bill. I've had my DX7 for 2 years and only problem is ran out of space, have 20 planes bound to it. Oh well nothing is perfect but DX 7 is close.

HA!! already have! flew the Typhoon and man what a difference!! Flying tomorrow and Monday!! Yes I have another BIG GRIN on my face!!
