setting CG on a Bipe
how do you set cg on a biplane? I normally will set my planes at 27% of the cord and adjust from there. but the bipe setup has me wondering. here's a link to the model so you can see it [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/fb.asp?m=9167686]Ultimate Bipe[/link]

Look at both wings in the overhead view from the extreme LE of one wing to the extreme TE of the other wing and go with 27% of the combined chord.

Can you get a manual for the Wattage Ultimate?
Check this thread: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_88...tm.htm#8868318 Posts #10 and #12 You also need to consider that the wings are swept back; hence, you need to determine the media chord (MAC): http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_36...tm.htm#3651709 Regards! |
