question about servo's real fast
 

I picked up a Brand new Nexstar Select 46 off craigslist in the box and that plane is awesome but I still want to finish my current trainer build. my local shop's prices are higher then online so im looking for 4 servo's. the Plane i want to put these servo's in is a Hobbico avistar. would you use S3003 or S3004 Servo's. I noticed the bigger nexstar plane uses 3003 so im assuming that 3003's for a smaller plane is perfectly fine.

what do you think.

I put S3004's in my NexStar, and it works fine. The difference between the 3003 and 3004 is the 3004 is a ball bearing servo. If you look on tower at the specs, all the specs are the same. I always be with ball bearing where ever possible, but that's just me. If you haven't flown the NexStar yet, you'll love it! It's a really great flying plane!

Either servo will work fine for a trainer.

Any of the standard servos as stated. There was a sale going on at Servo City just a while back, I bought a few plus some of there other sales items. If you shop around on the net sometimes you will find some great deals but do your home work, sometimes what looks like a deal is just the normal price you can find at your LHS.

If your LHS is that much higher than internet price+shipping then you may have a real problem. [&o]

That said, a competent LHS can be invaluable for information and assistance with your projects. [sm=thumbup.gif]

However, if your LHS is not airplane savvy, then by all means find an internet source for parts, and tune in to RCU for assistance. ;)
