Simulator question

Just recieved my Phoenix simulator today and working great. The problem is after a short 40 minutes my fully charged battery went dead and now it will take 18 hrs to fully charge it up, I am using an Hitec Optic 6. So my question is this is there anyway I can use my simulator and not have to quit after such a short time because my battery went dead. Getting more batteries and having to connect and disconnect seems like a hassle. Thanks, Nikolai

A short 40 minutes? I'd hate to ask how long your flights last :D

About your only option would be to buy a second battery pack (a BIG one) and keep it on charge anytime you're not using it

I believe you have a bad cell, but I could be wrong. I just turn my radio off and get on FMS but if I take the battery out competely, it will not work. I dont think this will help you but it might. You could just have a bad cell. You can get a new battery, with higher mAh, with longer flight time and longer sim time.

I've owned two radios so far and found the need to replace the batteries in both. If they can sell you a larger capacity battery, they won't give it to you.

RadicalRC.com is a good place to buy batteries.

I have a phoenix and a jr transmitter, I have a larger battery, but I can fly for many hours before I recharge. I would think about getting a large battery.
