which plane to buy

I would call myself an advanced beginer. What next plane to buy? I'm not hunting for super aerobatics, yet I'm capable to do do some loops, rolls etc. I'd like to stay in 40" span. Slow flying is fine for me. Which plane is the easiest to fly? My choices would be: E-flite Extra 260, Mini Funtana X and Great Planes: Extra 330S, Sukhoi su31, Edge 540E. But which one? Please help !!!

I "2nd" the Stik. It's my second model and I love it.

EDIT: it's a little larger than a 40" though. You might want to look at electrics if you want to stay in that size.

I agree with dignlivn, stay with a good stick 40 or 60 size, you will love it. Also a 4 Star is a great beginner low wing aircraft made by Sig MFG.
I am an advanced beginner, and I know I'm not ready for the 3 D aircraft like Sukoi, Extras ect. I do have them , in a box, and that's where they will stay until I'm ready for them.Don't fly over your capibilities . Ya ease into em, and fly them gentle until you get too know them. Ask around at the field about this. Experienced pilots are willing to help on your next choice.

I think the suggestion of a "stick" is worth considering. Lots of selection from small to giant.

Since it appears you fly electric models, here are two electric versions of the Ultra Stick
38 inch wing span http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...ProdID=EFL2250
59 inch wing span http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...ProdID=EFL4025
Great Planes has an ElectroStik
52 inch wing span http://www3.omnimodels.com/cgi-bin/w...I=GPMA1574&P=0

My second plane was the GP escapade. Alittle bigger than 40 in wing span but can glow or electric and I absolutly love that bloody plane :D. Its such a cool areobatic plane, but on low rates can fly as docile as a trainer. I take it off on low rates and fly it around and can pattern it on 60-70% rates and then on high rates (110-120%) its a complete monster capable of awsome spins and snap rolls. I think i have the biggest poop eatin grin on my face everything i take that baby up:D

An Escapade seems like it would fit your requirements pretty well.

I have been flying my Escapade with a Maginum 46 XLS and Futaba 7C Fasst System since last April. It is a great plane and I love the combination. Landings are great, flying can be both lazy or exciting. I recommend it highly:D.

Merry Christmas

I too have the GP Cherokee with an OS 46 AX in it and a second one with an OS 55 AX in it. Both are very great flying planes. I prefer the one with the 46 in it. But then the Escapade is only $99 while the Cherokee is $60 more at $159.
