Checking in from 30,000ft

Is this a great world we live in or what? I'm currently at about 30,000ft high, somewhere between Atlanta, GA and West Palm Beach Florida :D

I've played with the Wi-Fi on the airlines too. But only when they gave me some coupons for it. On American they charge $13/flight for access!!!!!! I don't need to read my email that badly!!!!

Have fun in Florida Mike, and I WON'T see you at Tony Packos!!!!!! ;)

I've used this a lot. It's a real productivity enhancer. Don't try to set up a skype video teleconference though. :D

If they'd let you plug in a Realflight controller to your seat and fly the airliner, that would be cool.:D

Welcome to West Palm, Mike!!!

I can see that you have landed already.

Bad weather the one you just flew over!
We have been under tornado advisory this afternoon.

Today has been an gray day down here, with lots of clouds, winds of 25 mph and gusts of 35 mph; no good for RC flying,......or for fishing.[sm=cry_smile.gif]

You can check the current conditions and the next days forecast here:

http://www.rcbushpilots.com/Field/We...4/Default.aspx

I hope you will teach us some piloting tricks while you are visiting here.

Again, welcome!

RE: Checking in from 30,000ft

Nope, we will both be there Gene. But neither of us will be found at Tony Packo's!!!!!

Mike knows what I meant!!!! :D

OK, I should be there with bells on. Hoping that CGRetired can make it this year. My wife and I will be there Friday and Saturday. when it gets closer, maybe we can meet someplace, then have lunch, dinner, supper, snacks, brunch what ever.

Absolutely!!!!! It's real, and actually the food is pretty good. I always burn the roof of my mouth on the fried pickles.

Mike an I swore off going a couple years ago, but actually succeeded in not going last year. The heartburn made it difficult to get our work done!!!! :D

Gene,
Mike and Ihave started doing a "RCULunch"on Saturdays. We'll meet at the side entrance to the Seagate at noon and then go to lunch. We found a place just up the street last year that's really good. Good sandwiches, good service (unlike Murphy's), and good prices. We'll put out a post the night before to confirm where and when we'll meet for the RCUlunch.

30,000 feet high is a lot better than 1/2 foot in the griound. Those Airliners tend to sink quite a bit.
