just curious
 

so i was wondering, is there a plane out there thats super easy to fly, can carry extra weight and has good battery life.

im just thinking about mounting some video and micro transmitters to a plane but dont now where to start with a plane and if its even affordable

the gws slowstick is great, ive thrown a rather large digital cam and it flies just fine (w/ brushless motor rimfire 35-30-1250), its also super easy to put a bigger batt on.

I'll second the GWS Slow Stick as a great place to start. YouTube is full of videos folks have shot from their Slow Sticks. The basic airframe is under $40 and can be flown with some of the most inexpensive parts on the market.

Any of the Telemaster series are a good place to start for load carrying planes that are easy to fly and efficient. You can outfit them with either glow power or electric power easily or even gasoline on the larger ones.

I agree and have seen the telemaster carry some pretty big loads.

Telemasters, if I can recall the story correctly, Were originally designed as load haulers. They used them to carry electric lines across valleys. Well a small line first then use that for pulling larger lines. The tail is a lifting body as well. Telemasters make good glider tugs and work horses and good basic trainers.

the slow stick is a good idea but if i end up doing this i want something that has a canopy like this does

the gws can take a crash just need a little glue, if not the no power system cost 25 bucks so its not like your looseing much.

if you want something thats cheap you could make/buy a spad such as the trainers at www.spadflyer.com

i had a parkzone slo-v. VERY easy to fly, and you can put a small pen cam or maybe even a larger cam. and at $100 RTR its a cheap plane. its also very durable. plus, since it flies slow and stable it should take good vids.

Red: my only experience flying is with a flight simulator and my hbfp helicopter.

the parkzone slo-v does not have the room im looking for to stash electronics.
im looking at this http://www.rcslot.com/pc-radio-contr...MPU214210.html but i cant tell if that will hold the electonics im looking for.
i know that this http://www.multiplexusa.com/models/r...easy_star.html will hold the electronics but dont want to take everything from the vid i saw.
is there anything with similiar price and size of the easy star?
