dumb question

Can you "rent" a plane at a local flying club to see if you like it? I know it depends on the club, but is this common?

I've never heard of renting a plane, but allot of clubs have club trainers so you can get in a few lessons to decide if you think you will like it or not. BTW IMHO Flying is way cooler than surface vehicles. But each to his own!:D

My son did the same thing except he bought a T-Maxx, he's already crashed a PT-40 and is currently flying an Avistar,

tlcdennis,
You've already posted your question three times (three new threads). It's rude to hi-jack someone else's thread for your purposes.

Dan,
I'd suggest asking around at the club. There's usually someone who would be happy to let you try their plane. (Especially if it's a trainer and it's already sert up with a "buddy box".)
