RE: T-34 Mentor simulator model??
Hope someone can answer the question on the flight simulator...
I have this plane and really don't suggest it as the opener to learn to fly as aileron and balsa here, you have quite an investment. Absolutely love mine, but strongly suggest you put it on the back burner and learn with example a nice 3 channel ship as the Super Cub. The club members can help you, but your at the mercy of the instructor on preventing anything happening...don't get me wrong some flyers are terrific but only with the right pilots....so be cautious...use a buddy box defintely...<>.. Wish you luck keep us posted...Its one of my favored models..<>.. |
RE: T-34 Mentor simulator model??
I've purchased the T-34 Mentor ePTS plane, am new to r/c flying and would love to be able to train on the RealFlight 5.5 sim with it. Anybody out there that can create such a sim model for me?
Thanks, Bill |
RE: T-34 Mentor simulator model??
You can find a T-34 for the Realflight. Google Realflight swap files. I have a couple different ones that I am playing with before I take the T-34 up for the first time. I picked up an Apprentice 15e for my first flights, slower, more dihedral, easier to repair since it is all foam. Gorrilla glue works well with foam. Uses the same battery as the T-34 too. Once I get a few landings in with the 15e I will take the T-34 up. I can take off and fly, its the landing that has me skeered. Getting much better at it on the Sim, the landings are nice and soft, its where I land that I am having problems with, but I think that has more to do with the sim than anything else. Perspective in 2D is lousy, so I think in real 3D I wont be having the same trouble.
