RE: help!
Many questions arise,
Have you fueled up your plane? Is your glow plug ignitor charged? Is your engine's glow plug working? Is your plane's receiver and your transmitter/radio on? Did you prime the engine if you fueled up your plane already by opening up throttle wide and turning the prop 3 to 4 times? How are you trying to start your plane? by chicken stick/hand or by electric starter. You should be able to tell how are you trying to start your plane, at this point the way you wrote is very difficult to figure it out how are you trying to start your plane? Mody |
RE: help!
The first places to look are the fuel system and the glow plug. Make sure adequate fuel is getting to the carburetor. Also make sure the main needle valve is opened adequately to let fuel flow into the engine but not so much that it floods. Also make sure you have a good glow plug and a good strong battery connected to it for starting.
You may also want to find some other flyers in your area, maybe at a club. I'm sure thry would be happy to help you out and give you some flight instruction. |
RE: help!
Do all the above recomendations, check that the fuel and exhaust lines are not switched. Remove the plug to see that a good orange glow happens when power is applied. Spin the engine with the plug out ( a rag over the hole please)to remove excess fuel. Begin again, make sure the fuel is fresh.

RE: help!
If at all possible, get someone that knows model planes to help you. From the sounds of your post you are new to RC. The Ready is a great plane but it should be flown by an experienced pilot at LEAST once. ENJOY !!! RED

RE: help!
If the fuel is exposed to air, it can absorb moisture. If it absorbs too much it will not run. Try new fuel, and try to find local help.
