DX7 question
Hi guys, I just bought a DX7 yesterday and an MSR to play with at home. Where is a good place for a more in depth instruction of the programming? I am looking for the swash settings screen and I'll be darned if I can find it based on the manual. Thanks in advance!

RE: DX7 question
I have never owned a msr, so I am not familiar with how the servos are setup. The swash type has to be set up first. So to get where you need to be, with the tx off, just hold down the scroll and select buttons simultaniously for 1 sec, and you will enter the system mode. From there just scroll to "swash type", and set 90 deg, 120 deg, ect (check what it is for the msr, 1 servo=90 deg, 3 servo=120 deg, ect). Then you can go to the function mode by pressing the scroll and select buttons simultaniously twice, and then scroll to "swash mix". From there you can set up the swash values for aile, elev, and pitch.................td

RE: DX7 question
Thanks TD. Yea, I'm familiar with getting into setup mode, problem is, swash menu doesn't show up. I tried for a while this morning, just kept going in circles, never saw it.

RE: DX7 question
If you dont set up a CCPM swash type you won't see the swash menu.
Not sure if the MSR requires that or not. |
RE: DX7 question
Thanks Barracuda. I'll keep researching and playing and see what I come up with. I just figured I could get more control out of the msr with the dx7, maybe I'm wrong. :)

RE: DX7 question
Don't know about programming heli's as I'm a fixed wing guy [>:] but I just got my DX7 last week and I LOVE IT. I have a ultra Micro 4site bound to it, my little vapor, my 3D Foamy, and for my first 2.4 glow plane it's gonna be piloting a brand new great planes escapade...
so far not a glitch not a brown out NOTHING! going great, and a VERY easy radio to use and to program |
