The easiest and best way is to cut the old hinges then re-hinge with new ones next to the old hinge positions. Trying to remove and debond the existing hinges is difficult at best.

Ca debonder is acetone. several application will turn the Ca to rubber. But it will be a pain to get any acetone into the hinge slots. Small drilled holes and patience with an eye dropper????

It shouldn't... just trim them all the way up to the control surface then make new slots.....

if done correctly, you wouldn't even see the old hinges....

and what about taking the "bad" hinges off with a hobby knife and replace them with nylon hinges glued with epoxy? it worked for me when I did the same ugly job installing hinges for the first time.

Have read that this works, but is still hard to get the old ones out. Check out minnflyers section on CA hinges here: http://www.rcuniverse.com/magazine/a...rticle_id=1180
