ar700 rx dx7 tx help

I have installed an ar700 rx in my Kyosho Spitfire, everything works great untill I start the Saito 56, the thtottel servo will move on it's own up to about 3/4 throttle if I advance to full then back to idle it will idle but then begins to advance again. I have a standard servo on the throttel I would think this would be fine. All the other servos seem fine. The rx is in foam and strapped to the fuse the second antenna is mounted perpindicular to it solid to the bulkhead should I try moving it rapping it in foam or put my old 72 rx back in.

It sounds like a bad throttle servo.

Try another servo. If it does the same check connections very carefully. Even change the extensions if needed. I saw one do this not long ago and it was the servo extension connection. Also, after trying a second servo if the problem persists, switch channels on the receiver and test the servo in another channel. Check one thing at a time reducing the failure points until you isolate the problem.

I agree, sounds like a bad servo thats got a vibration induced issue.

Yup... I had a Hitec on a gasser's throttle that did EXACTLY the same thing.

I had a little time this morning to investigate. I almost do not want to post what I found but will. This was a servo problem, the screw that holds the pushrod was to shors so was only applying moderate pressure and was slipping under the vibration of the engine, replaced the sceew with a longer one and now works fine. I thank all of you again for the spot on advice.
