Yeah that would be interesting to see what they would turn in the 1/4 mile. Hehe. Is it still 1/4 mile on water. Got any more pics of Drag boats. That's interesting stuff. Thanks Robt.

I spent a nice part of my life in the military, primarily attached to nuclear submarines. I took alot of photos but they were all classified until recently. Here are some that are now declassified. Some unique shots with a panorama camera as well. Welcome to my world....
My sub, the USS Helena on left, in Pusan Korea. South Korean diesel sub on right.

two members on board loading a MK-48 Torpedo

inside Sonar. This is what a real sonar screen looks like, not those stupid ones on tv.

Inside Fire Control, where the VLS tomahawks and harpoons are launched

panoramic picture of bearthing, 3 men per bed. sharing sucks.

panoramic pic of the con. FC on left, periscopes in middle, helm on the right

from the sail, exiting port at Holy Loch Scotland

last boat i was attached to, the USS Providence

Hey Nitro, I like that one myself... those Sub pics are great. Got any more. Guess you can't just take shots of anything without them being cleared. How do they do that. Do you have to ask first. Guess there's a lot that are off limits. Hehe. Don't want to give anything away. Especially nowadays. Anyways I got somemore pics but I don't know if I could post them. Might get beeped. Robt.
