23" balaenoptera musculus racing boat
 

hello guys i am a new member but have had luck with online forums before so figured give this a try. ok so i bought a cheap rc boat. the 23" balaenoptera musculus racing boat. and the first couple times the boat ran great. turned fine and good speed. only ran it 2 times before this issue happened. ok so i took it out this weekend and right off the bat the motors dont want to stay engaged or spinning at speed. i held the forward button on the controller but it would go then cut out. go and stop go and stop. but when making turns engines would stay running. also when i brought it close to me and held it in place the boat would act like it should. but when i took it out it kept cutting out again. if anyone has any ideas where i should try let me know. the only thing i have done to it is solder a new led on the controller because the other one was faulty. thanks everyone!!
