Default RE: Twin BEC`s

Unless you have some sort of device to allow battery sharing, only use one of the BECs. The reason is that one of the BECs will put out a slightly higher voltage than the other, even if they are from the same maker. This voltage difference will cause current to flow INTO the lower voltage BEC circuitry, with unpredicatable results. If you want to connect both BECs for redundancy, then you need to get something like BatShare from Smart-Fly, or do some research on how to put diodes in the circuit to prevent back-flow.

You can use a Y-harness or 2 throttle channels, it depends on what you want to do. A Y-harness is the easiest, but if you want to play with differential thrust you'll need 2 throttle channels.

ESC switches have been known to fail, usually when it will cause the most damage to your plane. Most electric flyers I know usually remove or short the ESC switch and consider the battery plugs as the on/off "switch".

Good luck!
