Default Props

Hi I have a HB Decathlon with a 7X6 prop I think, so what will happen if i put my 8X6 prop on it? and how exactly do you messure props?

The numbers (7x6) are diameter and pitch in inches. Diameter is easy, pitch you have to believe what is printed on the blades.

An 8x6 will draw a lot more current than a 7x6 of the same make, so I'd be very careful! You need a Wattmeter to determine that you won't be drawing more than the motor (and ESC, and battery) can handle.

Exactly what motor is in an "HB Decathlon"... whatever that is (for questions like this, links are useful).
