Default electrifly .46 specs??

I picked up a electrifly .46 outrunner but can't seem to find any specs on it. The numbers on the motor say HCAG 3129 it is 42mm Dia, 40 mm length. with a 5mm shaft. Any one have any info?

Don't believe everything they tell you... at 3W/g this 268g motor should be rated for only 800W... their ridiculously optimistic 1110W constant/1850W burst will only produce an immersion heater for your coffee!

Maybe you will tell me straight. I am planning on useing this on a 47.5 in wingspan canard that weighs 48 oz. with a 100 A ESC and a 4s lipo. 9-6 to 10-6 prop. Am I fixin to burn something?

It all depends on what the amp draw turns out to be... IMHO anything more than 60A on 4s might be pushing it.

The hobbico HCAG 3129 is not the same as a RIMFIRE .46. The motor dimensions of the 3129 are different. The closest I think is a RIMFIRE .32 which is a 42-50-800.

At first glance, I "think" it will be ok but you still should run it through a wattmeter or check amp draw with those props. Running it to 100 amps sells new motors.
