Default Parallel MAH?

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but I am sure someone here can answer.

My question is, if you run 2 or more batteries in Parallel, how do you figure the MAH capacity?

Say if I have 2 800 mah lipos, and I wire them in parallel, do I essentialy have a 1600 MAh battery, or is there another formula to figure this out?

Thanks, jeff

Default RE: Parallel MAH?

Nope, its pretty simple.

Series adds voltage and maintains capacity.

Parallel adds capacity and maintains voltage.
