I am a newbie with a Slow Stick and want to upgrade the motor. I bought a Razor 2500 and am putting the package together. A newbie question: Putting the pinion gear on the motor shaft really scares me. I am worried about damaging the motor. What is the best way to get that little bugger on?

DO NOT BANG IT ON WITH A HAMMER!
Use a vise. Use a small nut as a spacer between the front jaw of the vise and the pinion, then align the pinion on the front end of the shaft. With the other (rear) end of the shaft against the rear jaw of the vise, gently ease the pinion on, checking the alignment as you go. QED.
Cheers, Phil
