Default MPI Cobalt motors power requirements

What capacity battery do I need for a MPI Cobalt 4014 motor in a Combat wing? I use a 1800 mah NIMH for a Speed 400 but it drains too fast for the MPI and the MPI will only turn 4400 rpm with a 7x3 prop.

I don't think capacity is the issue. Your MPI motor is drawing more Amps than the battery can produce due to its internal resistance. You need something more robust, like CP1300SCR NiCds, or HR4/5FAUP NiMH.
