Default Scorpion S55 bearing help

I just bought a used Scorpion S5525-225KV motor. The front bearing is rough and has a flat spot. Getting new bearings is no problem, but I can't find any info on the correct proceedure to replace these. I have replaced outrunner bearings before, but nothing this big. The shaft has an allen bolt at the back that lets yousplit the motor. No clips.

Both bearings are in the winding assembly.Do you you press from the back bearing to push out the front? Then push out the back one?

Any help on how to or where to find helpwould be a great help, as I don't want to bugger up this expensive motor.

Thanks
Tom

Default RE: Scorpion S55 bearing help

Did you not check Scorpion's web site? This might help:

[link=http://www.scorpionsystem.com/building_technic/change_shaft/]Scorpion Tech Support[/link]

You can also e-mail Scorpion at: [email protected]

Or their U.S. dealer Innov8tive Designs: [email protected]

Good luck!

Default RE: Scorpion S55 bearing help

Thanks Jdetray

I did try those sites and e-mailed them, I just got a reply back from Innov8tivedesigns, they gave me a link to a U-tube video that shows the proceedure for the 40 series, they said it was the same as the 55 series.So I got the info I needed.

I tried this form asthe info usually comes in quickly, and I thought I may be waiting awhile to hear from the dealer due to the holiday season.
