Reliable source for electric motor parts?
In trying to order parts for an electric powered glider, I have been frustrated in locating the correct parts. The glider was originally for a brushed motor w/NiCads and I am updating the power system to brushless w/LiPo. The problem is that with the motor I need the shaft sizes vary from 2 mm to 2.7 mm to 3 mm to 3.17mm and the folding prop adapter choices are limited. When matching prop diameter/pitch 9x4 and colett sizes to the 3mm I need I can only find sources at Hobby King that define the parts well enough to match my needs and HK is Back Ordered on everything and no hope of ever getting any in. Is there any other source of individual parts such as these? I have tried Horizon Hobby, Tower Hobbies, Hobby People but no one has the parts I need.

For example:
Say you wanted this motor:

You want to match it with this speed control
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...ontroller.html
You want to run a 14x8 on 3S should shoulr draw about 44 amps. Want this spinner
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...0mm_shaft.html
14X8 blades

Now, what is the issue. I don't understand the problem.
If the blades are out of stock, get them somewhere else. google 14X8 folding props. I would probably buy the blades and spinner from the same place. Maybe call them to confirm that those blades work with that spinner.
If the speed control is out of stock select a different one or google 60 amp brushless speed control.
I am not sure of the issue.

Sorry for the lack of specifics. The glider is an older Osprey. I have an Out runner motor with a 3mm shaft installed with 30A ESC and I need a 9 x 4-6 folding prop with the correct size collet. HK doesn't seem to have any in stock..

So you need a spinner for a 3MM shaft and 9X? blades.
Now, what size spinner? 30 mm? 35 mm? 40 MM? ???
Try Esprit Models.
