Which is the heat sink?
Hello,
Just taking a look at a Detrum 80A ESC minus the heat shrink wrapping. Call it education, I suppose.
Curious, which silver 'block' is the heat sink? Smaller or larger? The larger was on the label side if that matters. Thanks in advance!

it looks like its both to me since the material and shape is identical. i would imagine that one is smaller just because that side of the board doesn't get as hot but thats just a guess. That esc must not generate much heat if they were willing to put labels on them like that as well as not to have fins on the sink

Looks like both to me too. The smaller heatsink is probably for the BEC. The efficiency of the output side must be quite high if they are just covering with heatshrink. Either that or typical HK doesn't care if their stuff burns up.
