Default Outrunner leads

Hi all! Doing my first electric airframe and just mounted motor which is a Dualsky that has rear shaft coming out the back of motor then a mounted prop shaft in front, from what I understand this is normal and used for different applications.
Questions
The motor leads are bent towards front of plane and I need them aiming towards airframe, due I just bend them? I’m concerned about doing that, I’m assuming many have ran into this. Thanks for any advice.

Hi Nick,
Can you just ease the leads back over into the direction you want them to travel, try not to kink them as this could create a hot spot?
