I've been flying my Aerobird Challenger now for about 3 weeks, and its flying great. The other day a fellow flier told me eventually the motor was going to wear out, and it would need replacing. Anyone know where to get a replacement 380 motor for the Aerobird, and give me your thoughts on using a 400 in it if possible.
Thanks, Daz...

Daz, you're really going to like this tidbit of information:
The 380 and Speed 400 motors are the same exact motor.
Told ya you'd like it
Just get a 6V Speed 400 motor and swap it out when it starts going bad.

Matt I dont like that, I LOVE IT!!!. I assume the 400 puts out more power than the 380 or is that the same too? Do you have a link to a good brush motor?

No... the "so-called S400" is really a 380 motor. Who knows why, must have been dreamed up by a politician.
So, you need to purchase a 6v 380 motor(Also called an S400). Generally $7-10 depending on where you buy it. GWS and Graupner both make them.
