I have a new Graupner Microjet foamy that came with a standard 6v speed 400. I plan on flying it with 3s2p LiPos. I was wondering if there is an 8.4v speed 400 available as the higher voltage of the 3cell lipos would soon smoke the 6v stock motor. I had also considered the motor that hobby lobby sells. It's the one with the replaceable brushes(open can) and ball bearings.
Any recommendations???

The 7.2V Speed 400 motor, or a "long can 400," also called a "480" motor, will work well using the stock prop (presumably a Gunther spoon prop) and a 3S2P LiPoly pack.
I think any of the 7.2V rated 400-480 motors will be okay, as long as you don't overprop them.
