Default Lengthen / Extend Cables

Hi,

I am building a model, where I need to extend the cables. Is it best to extend the cables between the battery and the ESC or the ESC and the motor. It is a brushless motor (Model Motors AXI) with one of their speed controllers (supplied by www.puffinmodels.com)

Thanks in advance,

Default RE: Lengthen / Extend Cables

As long as you're not talking about 12" or more extra wire - it's best to lengthen the battery to ESC wires. Also make sure you use the proper size and quality - the higher the strand count is best, and it should be "floppy" rather than stiff.
