Default Anyone tried GWS Moth with the EPS350c?

I just came from a hobby shop (Aero Micro San Jose, CA) and noticed the latest regular size GWS Tiger Moth (not the new larger ones) now comes with an EPS 350c motor.
Has anyone flown this combination? if so does it use up the battery pack a lot faster and how much of a performance improvement?
(They have the new 37" wingspan MOths in stock by the way).

OK I'm new to this forum and RC Universe.
I just posted that question regarding the GWS EPS 350 etc.
Now I notice I've got a "block this guy symbol"on my post.
What is this this all about?-could someone explain to me why I got this symbol?

That's in case anyone wants to block your posts from showing up on their computer. It can be toggled on or off.

If one used a 350C on a standard Moth they'd HAVE to go to Lipoly to reduce the weight and get sufficient run time - that motor will pull 8-10A so you'd need 2s Kokam 1500 or similar.

Phil...are you saying the 700mah nimh packs will not power the 350?? If so why does GWS even show nimh's as the battery pack for that power system??

Standard thinking on 700 AAA NiMh cells is that they are good for only 5-6A before voltage under load becomes a serious issue. You'd be much better off with 2/3AA KAN 650's which can cope with 10A or so. GWS are the same people who use JST connectors on motors capable of sucking 10-12A, who recommend that 110mAh batteries will give you good flight times, and who reckon an A-10 Warthog will fly WELL with two wimpy EDF 50 Ducted fans!

Cheers, Phil

Phil...I understand what you are saying now about the small AAA 700 not being able to dump enough amps...sorry if I sounded a bit testy with you in my post...
I got all my stuff in from www.allerc.com today and got to run my very first ever li-poly pack, WOW...can you say hooked
What a difference between those sickly AAA700's and this 3 cell TP 1320...OH MY...I was smillin all the way across the room. This setup is what I was dreaming of...I bought the Himax 2015/5400 Phoenix 10 amp brushless combo, the 3DHD foamy the sell , the GWS350 C GB, and the CC Pixie 20 amp ESC and then on the way home from the bank I made a pit stop at the LHS for some Deans pins and walked out with 2 more Thunder Powers li-poly packs...I am goin 3Din big time. All my gas and glow buddies are making fun of me with this electric stuff...I can't for.." Holly ****gasp that's electric?? Ha..let me fly it )
