Default Best AXI for a Dandy Sport?

Most of you know the Dandy Sport specs by now. 12 oz, aerobatic, aileron trainer. The recommended motor is an EPS 300c C.
I have an AXI 2808/20 but this looks like too much for the plane. I'm an AXI fan so I'm considering a 2212 or 2208.
Is the 2808/14 I have OK to use? It would put .5 oz. more weight in the nose than the recommended motor.
Should I get a smaller AXI? Which one, which wind? What LiPo combo to use? Which prop?

Alfa models has a new Focke Wulf 190 on their website. They estimate the weight between 13.4 and 14.8 oz. They give the following motor recommendations (note the last one is the AXI).

Speed 280 MPJ 3,75:1 APC 9×6SF 9,6 V min 6 A
Speed 300 MPJ 5:1 APC 9×6SF 7,2 V min 9 A
MPJ AC 25/25–26 Mk.2 MPJ 5:1 APC 9×6SF 7,2 – 9,6 V min 10 A
MPJ AC 28/7–30D — APC 9×6SF 7,2 V min 10 A
MPJ AC 28/7–35D — APC 9×6SF 7,2 – 9,6 Vmin 10 A
MEGA RC 400/15/5 — APC 9×6SF 7,2 V min 10 A
AXI 2208/26 — APC 9×6SF 7,2 V min 10 A

This may give you something to go on.

An AXI 2208/34 or 2212/34 would be perfect - on 2s or 3s depending on the prop size you choose. An 80g 2808/14 or 20 is suitable for 2-3lb planes, not 12oz parkflyers!

Cheers, Phil

Thanks again.
The 2212/34 it is. I like to err on the side of power. (Insert Tim Allen grunt here)

Yukon,

I am just getting into this electric stuff, so I am curious why you chose the 2212/34 and not the 2212/26 (the two motors I am currently looking at)?

The 2212/34 will swing a bigger prop and give more thrust. That is important to me because of the small field with trees I fly out of. I need a good climb rate. I believe the 2212/26 uses smaller props with greater pitch. It should hit a higher top speed but not as much thrust.
Dr Kiwi, Matt, help me out here. Am I guessing right?
Dr. Kiwi has an excellent spread sheet of his test results for the 2212/34. That was another reason I choose it. Also Dr. Kiwi never lead me wrong and it was one of his picks.
