Default Hi-current connector choice

As I move into larger motors like the GWS 350 and larger LiPolys, I know I need to upgrade my wire and connectors. I know there are a number of choices,Dean's, Andersons, etc) but I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations?

If the 350 is a "larger" motor you don't need the Deans Ultras or Andersons (those are for 30A+ applications) - by larger I thought you might have meant Hacker C-50 Acros at 60A! For your purposes Deans Micros would be good for 10A or so. Personally I have gone to MP Jet Gold Connectors for convenience, neatness and small size rather than their amp carrying capacity - even the tiny 1.8mm are good for 25A and the 3.5mm are good to >80A - I'll NEVER get to that stage!

Cheers, Phil

IThanks for the info. You are right a 350 isn't large, but I am still probably drawing too much current for my current JST connectors.

Whatever you choose - don't let it be JST!

The Deans Ultra is very popular but they are a PITA to pull apart, unless someone knows something that I don't.

Hi BasinBum - why do you think I changed over from Deans Ultras to MP Jet Gold Connectors?

Cheers, Phil
