Himax 2015-4100
I'm new to brushless motors, I bought a Himax 2015-4100 that I'm going to use on a 3DX. How warm should the motor run? After only 30 sec of running with no load it's seems to be getting pretty warm, probably 120F is this something to worry about or not? I'm using a CC Phoenix 25 speed control and 3S 1500 Lipos.

Running the motor with no load is not good for the motor, and doesn't tell you anything about how warm it will get when its under load. With no load, the motor is spinning at or beyond its maximum speed, creating a lot of friction. On the bench, there's no airflow over the motor to cool it either.
