Help!
I am about to order an AXI 2212-26. It will run on a 2S 1500 LiPO pack. I can use either a Castle Creations Phoenix 10 or the FMA 20 Amp programable ESC. Purpose is to power a 3-D type aircraft with an all-up-weight of between 11 and 14 oz.. I live and fly at 4700 feet ASL. I want the battery, ESC and motor to last more than one run.
Looking to keep things cool! Will use a 2S2P 1500 pack if necessary. I also have some 3S LiPO packs as well. I think 3S2P would be kind of heavy for my design. I have a PJS 550E for the 3S applications anyway. Two questions: Is the motor a good choice for the intended purpose?
What prop will do the best job? I'm not looking for speed, hooover is what I'm after.
Thanks

Your Kokam 1500's can handle 12A continuous so if you want to stay with the 2s lipos go for APC 12x3.8 or 12x6 SF prop...thrust around 16oz pulling only 8.3A according to motocalc.
