Lost strut on e-starter

Default Lost strut on e-starter

What do you think will happen if I lost one of the support struts on my wing on my estarter? will the wing fly off maybe? eh?

Both struts on mine broke off when it blew off my truck at the field. I wouldn't trust the plane to just the center wing hold down...

it's funny that you frequent the other "RC Groups" forum and there is a therad on this..... Just replace it with carbon fiber tubing and some spring clevis's

Mine kept popping loose so I just ditched them and have never had a problem. But my wing is held on with rubberbands and bamboo skewers and not the bolt setup

I myself believe with proper install of the "Wing Spar" and using the Rubber band method, you shouldn't have a problem. IF you are concerned, a little reinforced packing tape, carbon fiber/fiberglass tape, or a carbon fiber 3/4 length wing spar can fix the issue.
