it's funny that you frequent the other "RC Groups" forum and there is a therad on this..... Just replace it with carbon fiber tubing and some spring clevis's

Mine kept popping loose so I just ditched them and have never had a problem. But my wing is held on with rubberbands and bamboo skewers and not the bolt setup

I myself believe with proper install of the "Wing Spar" and using the Rubber band method, you shouldn't have a problem. IF you are concerned, a little reinforced packing tape, carbon fiber/fiberglass tape, or a carbon fiber 3/4 length wing spar can fix the issue.
