Default E-wirering set up question

Quick question , I have a 15 amp speed control - the wires are thick - I am connecting the ends to my Gold steckler connnectors taht are prewired but the wires are about one size smaller . I know the connetors are rated correctly for high amps but just concerned that the wires go from thick to thinner via my sodering connection . Is that ok ?

Just make a good mechanical connection before soldering (i.e. twist the wires together), and you'll be ok. The prewired connectors presumably come with wire that's more than adequate for the rated Amps.
