prop angle at motor shut down?
Hello
This might be a stupid question but can you adjust where the prop is when the motor shuts off. I am using a castle 25 with an axi brushless motor with no landing gear. I flew this setup for the first time today and tore out the motor because the prop hit the ground on landing.
Thanks
Jeff

RE: prop angle at motor shut down?
I see this time and time again, and I can't help but wonder how you guys manage to break stuff.
I've been flying electric belly-whompers for years, and have NEVER broken a single solitary prop. Even 3-blade props. Maybe it's because I disable the brake function so the prop is free to turn when it hits the ground? Dunno.
Frankly, I'd disable the brake, mount the motor better, and work on my landings...
