park370 damage
well, Im not sure if it was from all the muddy crashes, or the (careful ) removal of the pinion gear, but I seem to have hurt my motor. I wanted to run it direct drive for a jet, but now the shaft wobbles. I dont think the shaft is bent, but the bearings are no longer tight. after a few seconds, even with no prop, the motor gets very hot. with even a small prop on, it hits the cutoff on a 25A esc. is there any hope? or is it trash?

RE: park370 damage
I'd trash the motor and buy a new one. Wattage sells a 370 brush motor that will work for about $10.00. You should see a little more power with this motor. I took one a part one time and found that it was a 28T motor.

RE: park370 damage
I don't think you'll see more power from an inexpensive brushed "can" motor than you would from a Park370 brushLESS...
If you're feeling adventurous, BadSplice, you might be able to pull the motor apart and replace the bearings. Unfortunately, I don't think Horizon's warranty covers crash damage or "careful" removal of the pinion gear .
