Default Axi and Li-Po ???

hi all,

just got AXI 2826/10 and am thinking of getting a 3 cell LI-PO 2000mah, but is it possible for me to get a 4 cell 4100 mah and will it be good for it.. i looked at lobby hobby and they only mentioned about the 2000mah.

Note: am thinking of getting the duralite batt. (the one on sale)??

Reagards.

www.modelmotors.cz is the reliable source of information for AXi motors. Hobby Lobby's numbers for these motors are often... optimistic, and sometimes downright unrealistic. No qualms with the products they sell or the service they provide, but you have to take their numbers with a pinch of salt...

From memory, I seem to remember them listing a 4S LiPoly (or 14-cell NiCd) configuration for this motor. It's a pretty small prop, but it'll have higher power output than a 3S setup.

Go here and look up the #s with the 4S Lipoly.

It doesn't matter if the Lipo is 2000 or 4000mah. The #S is important.
Make sure the 2000 or 4100 battery can handle the amp draw. You are looking at about 35A. The 2000mah battery would hvae to be at least a 20C and the 4100mah a 10C package.

I'm building a Sig Kadett LT25 and also bought the AXI 2826/10. I've ordered a Thunderpower 4200 3s2p and plan to use either a 12x8 or 13x7 prop. Should be in the air in a couple of weeks and then I can tell you how that motor/battery combination works.
