Default Keep stripping my pinion...

I have a himaxx 2025-4266, and my pinion keeps stripping out! I origianlly had my 66T gear on, but did not know about the airbrake setting on my Ph-25 ESC, and so i wrecked that up. Have since turned the airbrake off, and put on the 64T gear, and was flying great...til today. Was in mid flight and hear some pretty funky sounds coming from the plane. thankfully i got it down ok. Apon inspection, the pinion had stripped and no longer engages the gear correctly.

Is this normal wear and tear?

Not sure what is "normal" wear, I just never use gears... But it is important that you set the "soft-start" function on your ESC when using gears!

Oh! Ok, thanks! I will re-program my esc before going on a new set of pinion and gears.

Thanks much JooNorway!
