ESC Problem???
Flying Easy Star, Speed 400, Jeti 12A Esc, Nimh 1100 mah, JR 6102 system. Noticed a couple of problems. When flying at mid to low throttle, can hear slight variation in motor speed. Not enough to affect flight, maybe a few hundred rpm's. At full throttle, engine steady. Also yesterday, I throttled almost back to let it glide and when advanced throttle, no response. For some reason, I then pulled the throttle all the way back, advanced it forward and engine responded. New battery pack with plenty of capacity. No trouble with control surfaces. Appreciate any thoughts or info. Thanks

The 12 amp ECS seems small for a speed 400. I would see how many amps you are drawing. If you can give me a prop size I have motocalc and can give you an estimate. I have had speed controls do that when I was drawing to many amps.
