Y-harness for brushless ESC´s on a twin
The instructions for the JETI 30 Advance ESC says the BEC can handle
a maximum of 3 servos with 3 LiPo´s
I would like to use 2 of these ESC´s i parallell on a twin motor plane.
Can I use a simple Y-harness and get twice the BEC power?
Someone told me the BEC´s may interfere with each other[sm=confused.gif]
Thanks for the support in advance,
/Leo

Why would you want to do this? How many servos are you planning on using? BTW - whoever told you paralleling BECs can cause them to interfere with each other was wrong. Many popular ESCs use BEC devices in parallel.

Hi: I have heard you cannot use one speed control on the new motors, only brushed ones. I also need a harness set up, from speed control to two electric brushed motors. help appreciated. Roger Q.

for ailerons and flaps. Standard servos for elevator and rudder.

Although it looks like a close call, I would disable the BEC on one of the ESCs and use only one BEC. The ratings for BEC current are really meant for worst case when using multiple control surfaces simultaneously. In your case, the flaps will be seldom used and certainly not at the same time the other three surfaces are being used (like in a snap roll).
Alternatively, you can do the following:
[ul][*] remove shrink wrap on ESC with enabled BEC for maximum cooling benefit[*] use a seperate receiver battery[*] use a seperate UBEC or SBEC for all servos and receiver
[/ul]
Good luck!

Thanks gentlemen! I think I will use a separate battery for the receiver and servos
as it seem like the plane will need some weight in the nose anyway
BTW, I ran across a web site with lots of info regarding the use of BEC´s
