Recently bought a kontronik 480-33 at scratch and dent, but when it arrived it was a KONTRONIC 400-36 with a reduction drive 4.2/1. For the price and the extra gear drive I don´t mind.

I´m planing using this motor for a ducted fan jet so the reduction drive is no good for me.

HOW CAN I TAKE OUT THE GEAR DRIVE FROM THE MOTOR????????

Juan,

The Kontronic gear drive simple spins off. Hold the gearbox up and twist it counter-clockwise. You'll likely need a pipe wrench.
