Default Hacker X-12 Programming

I have an X-12 controller with the A20-30M.

I’d like to enable the Brake (no landing gear). Instructions says to plug in with throttle stick at full throttle, wait 5 seconds to enter programming mode, then within 5 seconds, reduce to idle. No problem so far.

How about the other settings? I’d like to make sure it’s set for 3-cell. Is it a function of how long you wait before reducing to idle?

Another question…while flying my SX3, I wanted to see what she’d do in level flight full throttle (bad idea!) After about a 10 second run, the motor kicked hard twice almost <it is after all “indestructible”> ripping the front end off the plane. Was this some sort of current limiter tripping?

Thanks,

Scott
