Default ESC SIZE

I was wanting to know if someone could help me out with a question. I know that ESC's are sized depending on the current draw of your peticular setup, but is there a reason a person couldn't say use a 40A ESC on a setup that only pulled 10A max. I know that there is a size weight and price difference on ESC's and I would just buy a larger one if I could get away with it.

On another topic, does anyone by chance know if a Parkflyers 4 channel 72mhz TX is compatable with anyone elses RX (hitec, futaba, etc.) If it is it a single or double conversion receiver? Thanks for any and all help.

Default RE: ESC SIZE

Yes, you can always use a bigger ESC than you need and not have a problem.

Your second question I don't know.
